Item 9: Election of nomination committee members
As a matter of principle, Folketrygdfondet considers that a nomination committee can only perform its functions if it is independent of the board of directors. This is not the case in this instance, as one of the members of the nomination committee is also a candidate for re-election to the board of directors. The agenda item does not permit individual voting for candidates, and Folketrygdfondet will therefore vote against the nomination committee proposal as a whole.
