Exercising ownership is an important contribution toward ensuring both shareholder values and a well-functioning financial market. Folketrygdfondet has the responsibility of excercising those proprietary rights which are attached to the shares we are invested in. We dedicate a substantial amount of resources to working with ownership excercise and we aspire to be open about how we excercise our ownership. To demonstrate this, Folketrygdfondet publishes an annual ownership report in which we, inter alia, communicate information about our work and our experiences in this area
